MEET THE EXECUTIVE BOARD

Christeen Francis, LCSW, CCM,

is founder of Having P.U.R.P.O.S.E, Inc. and has been a Social Worker for the past 20+ years working in behavioral health, home care, and education fields. She loves to travel and has spent the past several years travelling to and volunteering in countries in Africa and the Caribbean. She has decided to spend the next chapters of her life dedicated to Having P.U.R.P.O.S.E, Inc. Her dream is to travel to each country in Caribbean & Africa to assist local organizations create programs to educate and employ youth and women. Her personal motto is, "To spend life giving of myself it is the surest way to self-fulfillment".

Aunita Grant, LCSW

is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with over thirty years of experience in Child Welfare, and Education. She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pace University and a master's in social work from Hunter College School of Social Work. Ms. Grant has worked with various organizations in different capacities including but not limited to School Social Worker, Life Skills Coordinator, Independent Living Skills Coordinator, Family Consultant and Program Director. She has a wide range of experience in working with various populations however her expertise is in adolescent behavior.

Corrine Maxwell

have 5+ years' experience working as an assistant to the manager of a nonprofit organization; knowledgeable about grant writing and mass mailing for fund raising. Worked over 8+ years as IT support in the insurance industry, providing IT support for internal and external staff. For past 15 years worked in Telcom industry providing support for national telecommunications company, providing support for phone and internet service to big business customers nationally. Corrine is also an entrepreneur and is passionate about women being business owners, so that they can elevate their families and communities out of poverty.

Kathleen Charlery-Noel, LMSW

she reported that she was born with the purpose to help people so therefore it was only a natural fit to become a Social Worker. She was taught by example, by her grandmother and mother the gratification in volunteering at a tender age of 5 on the Island of St. Lucia. She earned her bachelor's degree from York College in 2008 and her master's in social work from Hunter College in 2010. Her specialty is Gerontology and her mission in life is to impact the lives of seniors so that their time spent on earth is one of purpose. When she not busy being a mom, and a wife she spends her time training other women how to improve their physical health. She also enjoys spending time with seniors listening and learn from their life stories.

Martina Ahadzi, LMSW

Is Ghanaian but now lives in USA with her family. She has a master's degree in Social Science from the State University at Albany with special interest in elder care. She is currently a Licensed Social Worker in New York working with elderly and chronically ill. She enjoys working with individuals with dementia and their care givers; training and teaching about the disease process and strategies to manage difficult behaviors. She is also involved in several organizations working in Ghana and Liberia providing clean water and improving health services in rural areas. Her dream is to improve home care services for the elderly in Africa.

Marcia Dunne, MBA

Is a native of Jamaica who immigrated to USA in search of the American Dream. She graduated from Oswego State University with a BA in Sociology & Business and an MBA in Finance & Management. She worked at Public Health Solutions for 7 years as a Fiscal Analyst on Federal contracts and budgets, and she has worked for many nonprofits as a fiscal analyst. She is happily married and is enjoying her time as a stay-at-home mom raising two beautiful girls and caring for her family.
